About me
Corey is an innovative and visionary entrepreneur who is on a mission to secure SMBs, startups, and supply chains with cost-effective, preventative cybersecurity subscriptions. In 2019 he founded Cyvatar.ai, a cloud-based platform that delivers cybersecurity-as-a-service with measurable and guaranteed outcomes to their members.
Prior to launching Cyvatar.ai, Corey was a member of the founding executive team and Chief Customer Experience Officer (Senior Vice President) at Cylance, a leading AI-based cybersecurity company that was acquired in 2019 by Blackberry for 1.4 billion. There, he built and led a profitable P&L and a global team of 200+ professionals who provided penetration testing and red teaming, Incident Response, ICS security, vCISO, Technical Support, Education, Customer Success, and implementation services to thousands of customers. Cylance’s Incident Response team led by Corey solved some of largest global incidents in history like Operation Cleaver and the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) hack. Corey also created and scaled ThreatZERO, the industry's first outcome-based service that ensured every client achieved and sustained prevention against cyber threats. Later Corey built a managed service called Cylance Guard that combined product and service into a single subscription that further simplified securing Cylance’s customers. Corey’s people-centric servant leader approach, innovative mindset, and customer focus have enabled him to create new solutions that have never been in market and deliver exponential value to Cylance’s global customer base.
At Cyvatar, Corey White has decided to do the impossible by actually securing the 99.9% of businesses which are SMBs in the United States alone. After 30 years in cybersecurity and technology Corey has built a business that is not just technology based. It is mission based by focusing on solving business and growth challenges for the underserved SMBs market. Cyvatar has access to the best-of-breed, people processes, and technology. This approach is unprecedented because the best-of-breed cybersecurity companies do not sell their products and services to SMBs and even if they did the typical SMBs doesn’t have a cybersecurity expert to Install, Configure, Assess, Remediate, and get into Maintenance (ICARM). Corey developed this proprietary methodology to continuously secure SMBs because cybersecurity is not just a one time activity, it is a process that must be solved in a continuous subscription.
